Alumni who are interested in hiring qualified interns and employees can post jobs and partner with CMC for free.

ODU's Career Management Center
ODU’s Career Management Center offers free access to online and in-person services for alumni job seekers and employers. Additionally, the Career Management Center can assist alumni with tips on topics such as resume writing and interviewing skills.

The Lion's Den
You may also be able to network your way to excellent employment opportunities by utilizing the association's Lion's Den, an online networking tool that includes a search option by occupation and allows registered members to post and search for resumes.

As the summer brings sun and relaxation, you may be reflecting on your resolutions to improve your career and add life to your job. Have no fear! In this time of renewal you can energize your career as well! Begin by taking a few moments to reflect and then spring into action.

By reflecting on your passions you may be able to see where you can breathe fresh air into your current job or position for future opportunities. Think about your interests, talents, abilities, skills, growth opportunities, resources and contacts. Once you have an idea of what motivates you and the resources you might already have, you have already completed the first step in energizing your career.

Next, it's time to cultivate these passions. The CMC Cyber Coaches are here to to help strategize your next steps assisting you with everything from redesigning a resume, to investigating a new career path or launching a job search campaign.

Other tools can also help you get on track! The Lion’s Den, ODU’s online alumni network, allows you to contact other alumni and potential employers while ODU CareerLink helps you identify job options and potential employers.

Once you've identified the things that inspire you and taken the first steps to apply these to your career development, you're well on your way to energizing your career!
