Greetings, NOVA / DC ODU Alumni!

The ODU Alumni Association is over 109,000 strong and the Northern VA / Washington, DC area is lucky to serve as home to over 8,000 of you.
In 2008 a small group began working with the Association to establish an official chapter in our area and we are now entering our second year. Over the past months, we’ve hosted several events including a Personal Finance Luncheon, a Send-Off Event for area ODU Freshmen and our Chapter Tailgate before the ODU vs Georgetown Game. (See the photos on Facebook.) During our two general meetings we established our leadership and defined our standing with the Alumni Association. It’s fair to say that we’ve come a long way in short time.
We have several opportunities for you to get involved in the upcoming months. We are gathering on Sunday, Nov 15 for a Membership Meeting & Social at the Capitol City Brewery. We’ll host a Holiday Social on Saturday, Dec. 19. And we have an exclusive opportunity to purchase Pregame Event / Ticket packages for Monarch Basketball vs George Mason on Jan. 2.
The area is filled with Monarch Spirit and we look forward to growing even more. Whether you want to network, socialize, participate in community service or just cheer for the Monarchs, we’re here to connect you with other alumni and to strengthen our ties to ODU.
