| Preseason Title a Sign of Season to Come |
 Make no mistake about it, the Monarch Basketball season is off to a roaring start!
With signature wins over Clemson & Xavier for the Paradise Jams Tournament title and a leave-it-all-on-the-court performance in a close loss to Georgetown, the men's team is proving they have what it takes to hold their own against formidable opponents.
After hosting Richmond on Wednesday, December 1, the Monarchs will begin CAA conference play at Delaware on Saturday, December 4. And though nothing is certain, Coach Blaine Taylor and his team are confident it's going to be an exciting year.

| Lady Monarchs Ready to Face Some of Nation's Toughest Opponents |
 The Lady Monarchs have never shied away from early season competition and this year it seems to be paying off.
ODU has made a splash with wins against ACC's Georgia Tech and the Big East's Louisville as well as a heartbreaking two point loss at NC State.
The Lady Monarchs head to Florida to face the Gators on Tuesday, November 30 for one last big name opponent before they host powerhouse Tennessee on December 5. Help the team set a record and sell out the Ted for the first time in Lady Monarch history!
