Football Returns to ODU September 5, 2009
After nearly 70 years without a football team, Old Dominion will create history on September 5 with its first home game of the 2009 season. Coach Bobby Wilder will lead his young team onto Foreman Field at the refurbished S.B. Ballard Stadium filled with 20,000 plus fans. The Marching Band will fire up “Victory for Old Dominion,” the cannon will fire and The Monarch Football Era will have arrived. For a look back at ODU football as well as a detailed schedule of gameday events, download the Alumni Association’s guide to ODU football. (TV listings included!)
