Alumni Legislative Network
It's a fact: legislators do listen and your voice does make a difference for the future of Old Dominion.
The Alumni Legislative Network is the Alumni Association's grassroots effort to rally support for Old Dominion University's legislative initiatives. Help support your alma mater by talking to state legislators about the importance of supporting higher education in Virginia, particularly at Old Dominion!
Participants in the network are alumni and friends of Old Dominion who have expressed an interest in assisting the University with garnering support for legislative initiatives. By contacting legislators and encouraging their support of higher education, alumni can exact a positive response from their legislators, resulting in support for Old Dominion.
If you choose to participate in the Alumni Legislative Network, you will receive periodic e-mail alerts regarding Old Dominion's legislative initiatives. These e-mails will update you on legislative issues and ask you to take action. The greatest number of Legislative E-mail Alerts will be sent during the Virginia General Assembly, which begins on the second Wednesday of January each year and runs for 45 days in odd-numbered years and 60 days in even-numbered years.
