Co-sponsored by the Old Dominion University Attorney Alumni Chapter and the Pre-Law Student Association, the Annual Pre-Law Dinner is held each spring. The dinner gives current students who are interested in pursuing careers in law an opportunity to meet and network with Old Dominion alumni who are attorneys.

A high-profile alumnus/alumna serves as the keynote guest speaker for the dinner. Previous guest speakers have been The Honorable Moody E. "Sonny" Stallings '72, a former Virginia state senator who currently serves on the Old Dominion University Board of Visitors, and The Honorable Harry R. "Bob" Purkey '68, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
