Alumni Legislative Network
The Alumni Legislative Network is the Alumni Association's grassroots effort to rally support for Old Dominion University's
legislative initiatives. Help support your alma mater by talking to state legislators about the importance of supporting higher
education in Virginia, particularly at Old Dominion!
Alumni/Admissions Partnership
Help Old Dominion continue to recruit the best and brightest new students by being an Alumni Admissions Volunteer. These volunteers
represent Old Dominion at College Fairs across the country, write letters to prospective Old Dominion students and host Summer Send-Off
Parties at their homes for students in their areas before they leave for Old Dominion, among other recruitment opportunities.
Mentorship Program
The Alumni Association's Mentorship Program matches alumni with current students who share a similar major or career interest.
Alumni Association Awards Program
The Alumni Association presents a variety of awards annually, including the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Outstanding Scholar Awards and
Tonelson Faculty Award.
Alumni Chapters
By joining an Old Dominion Alumni Chapter, you'll have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow alumni who live in your area
or share a common major or other interest.
Alumni and University Events
As one of the goals of the Alumni Association is to engage alumni in activities involving their alma mater, we sponsor several alumni
events throughout the year. Additionally, we ask alumni to join us at University events such as Founder's Day, athletic games and
concerts.
Student Programs
The Alumni Association sponsors a variety of programs for current Old Dominion students to make sure they know we support their academic
endeavors and welcome them into the Association upon graduation.
