Athlete of the Year Award

Each spring, the Alumni Association selects two student-athletes - one male and one female - to receive the Alumni Association Athlete of the Year Awards. Honorees are selected based on their high quality of sportsmanship and leadership on and off the field of athletic competition during undergraduate years.

Nominees for the Athlete of the Year award are made by athletic coaches and compiled and submitted to the Alumni Association by the University's Sports Information Director each spring. A committee composed of members of the Alumni Association select one male and one female recipient from these nominees.
